Day 29–Day 1, Year 2012 & Falling Stars

The first day of 2012!! We made it to midnight!!! We were both exhausted. We are used to staying up that late. This was the first year I truly felt overjoyed. I saw a falling star just before midnight—I won’t tell you what I wished for—but stay tuned:) We rented some movies, Ocean’s 13, Traitor, and some Kyra Sedgwick movie that started with her sleeping with many men in the first 15minutes in the quest for a baby. Need I say more—we moved to Traitor then after realizing the complicated nature of terrorism, religion and the world we live in, we ended with Ocean’s 13! Nothing like a great movie about a heist in Vegas with a bunch of handsome fellas to ring in the new year.

It’s funny though—out here they don’t delay Dick Clark’s Rockin Eve or Ryan  Seacrest or Kathy Griffin/Anderson Cooper so we watched at 10:00 then some Ryan Seacrest (sorry Kathy) thing in Vegas at our actual midnight. It was beautiful, all I could think, feel, and be grateful for was that I was here in Sedona with my wife and our dogs. Yay-2012!!! I am exactly where I should be!! How was your New Year’s Eve??? Happy 2012!

We woke at 8:00am and took the dogs to Bell Rock for a New Year’s Day hike. What a way to start the year off! When we got home, we were all exhausted and took a 3hour nap. The Vortex energy some times make you sleep—that an staying up until midnight:) How did you begin your year??
